Create a free FlickrFight account, upload one shot to any of the 40+ open categories by the daily cutoff, and it will be auto-paired against another submission for community + guest-judge voting starting the next morning.

Is FlickrFight free to use?

Yes. Entering battles, voting on other photographers' shots, and browsing the global leaderboard are free forever. An optional Premium tier removes ads and unlocks personal analytics, but never gates participation.

How does the FrameRating ELO ranking work?

Every photo enters the ring with a base rating and gains or loses points after each head-to-head based on community votes, weighted by vote integrity, view duration, and the weekly guest judge's verdict. The system is fully public, so you can see each category's clean-vote percentage on the Integrity Index.

What happens when a photo wins its category?

Weekly category champions are featured on the front page, earn a verified badge, and are pushed to the Scout Channel — a digest sent to 2,400+ approved photo editors, art buyers, and gear-brand partners. FlickrFight never guarantees paid work, but historically about 14% of winning shots receive a licensing inquiry within 30 days.
